Description

The Schmierer SEA SSEAVAFIII is a highly reliable variable area (VA) flowmeter designed for measuring the instantaneous flow rates of liquids and gases. Operating on the classic rotameter principle, it utilizes a vertically mounted conical tube and a free-moving float. As the fluid flows upwards, the float rises to a point where the fluid’s upward drag force balances the float’s downward weight. The height of the float provides a direct visual measurement of the flow rate on the scale. In addition a digital display (battery driven) can show the flowrate and total.

  • No Power Required: Operates entirely on mechanical principles, ensuring reliable flow indication even during power outages.
  • Versatile Media Measurement: Suitable for a wide range of gases and liquids.
  • Robust Design: Engineered to withstand demanding industrial environments.
  • Customizable Options: Can be equipped with regulating valves and remote transmitters for enhanced control and automated monitoring.
Variable area flowmeters are widely used in laboratories, water treatment plants, and chemical processing to monitor filtration, blending, and dosing.
