Digital pressure gauges are electronic instruments that use a sensor to convert physical forces into electrical signals and display the results as numerical values on LED or LCD screens.  Known for their superior accuracy, durability against vibration, and versatility, digital gauges often feature integrated functions like backlight displays, unit switching (e.g., PSI, Bar, kPa), and data logging capabilities.

Digital pressure gauges use an internal pressure transducer, (a piezoresistive sensor or a strain gauge), to convert mechanical force into an electrical signal. The pressure deformation on a diaphragm  changes the electrical resistance within the sensor circuit, creating a voltage output proportional to the intensity of the pressure. The processed analog signal is  sent to a microprocessor for pressure compensation and digital display.
