Schmierer Germany has introduced a specialized Graphene infused PTFE Xylan 1427 coating for diaphragm gauge membranes as a standard for standard pressure ranges. This coating provides continuous long-term protection against corrosion and chemicals for the Mineral Oil and Chemical Sector.
Xylan 1427 series fastener-class coatings are waterborne/VOC-compliant, resin-bonded, thermally cured, single-film, dry-film lubricants. They are primarily formulated for use on fasteners and oil tools to prevent corrosion and resist chemicals.
The Ensim EFS Paddle Flow Switches from Ensim are used for monitoring of liquid flow in pipes. When the liquid flow stops or starts its paddle actuates a microswitch (NO/NC), hereby electrical equipment is protected .The flow switch is suitable to use all kinds of non-corrosive liquids. The Kirchner Flap Type Flow Meters are used for large flow rates in different types of process media: water, air, liquids, gases, non-conductive fluids (mineral oils, alkalis, acids), high viscous liquids (slurries) and fluids or liquids with a high content of solidifying particles.The primary measuring element of the flow meters is a flap, which is deflected by the flow of the medium. KLA Type Flap Flowmeter
In the standard KLA version a magnet directly transfers the flap movement to an externally mounted pointer that indicates the flow quantity on a powder coated aluminium disk.
In the KLA-GS version the quantity is directly indicated by the flap. The flap-type flow meter is equipped with hard glass screens at the front and the back which provides a direct visual display.

KFS Type Flap Flowmeter
The 50 mm thick ring features a half-round plate that is fastened to a rotating spring-loaded spindle.
The angle between flap and ring changes according to the rate of flow, and a breakaway-proof magnetic coupling transfers the movement to an external pointer
