Wireless Transmission
AirGate-Modbus is a wireless multifunctional gateway that allows the transparent and easy insertion of wireless branches into existing wired RS485 networks. The AirGate-Modbus has four operation modes, Modbus Master, multiplexer, USB RS485 converter and simple wireless RS485 extension. A proprietary protocol based on IEEE 802.15.4 facilitates operation in star mode, allowing the connection of several wireless segments to an existing Modbus RS-485 network.
The Transmitter and wireless set allows for wireless temperature measurement at a distance around 3.5 km. The transmitter has the shape of a standard head mounted transmitter, so it can be installed into a standard connection head. It works with most standard thermocouples and resistance sensors. The wireless set is equipped with a 4÷20mA analog output and digital MODBUS RTU, it can work with sixteen transmitters.
Connection Heads for Temperature Sensors
Connection heads are integral elements of temperature sensors, available also as separate components. They are made primarily of aluminium alloys, but stainless steel, polyamide or noryl heads are also available. A wide range of connection heads allows head selection for a variety of applications: transmitter mounting, digital LCD display, intrinsically safe or flameproof certified types, 2 table glands, etc.
Compensation and Extension Cables - Plugs and Sockets
Compensation and extension cables for thermocouples are the element of measuring installation connecting thermocouple sensor with measuring device e.g. controller, indicator or temperature recorder. Extension cables are made of the same materials as thermocouples, whereas compensation cables are made of substitute materials with properties similar to thermocouples. Cable insulation are selected according to ambient conditions and operating temperature.
Plugs and socket are components of measuring systems used for connection of temperature sensors with a measuring device such as controller, temperature indicator or recorder. They are also used for connections and extensions measuring lines.
Controller, Recorder, Datalogger
Temperature sensor controllers have a universal input suitable for most common thermocouple sensor as well as Pt100. Low or standard 230V power supply can be selected.
Outputs options: alarm - control output - or 4÷20 mA
Two displays: upper (red) colour presents temperature of process; lower (green) colour presents set temperature.
