Headsensor for slow temp. change, furnace, boiler, cement oven

This headsensor with replaceable insert for media with slow temperature changes. The Thermowell made of heat-resistant or/and creep-resistant steel enables temperature measurement of e.g. burned gases and exhaust gases in furnaces up to 1200°C.

  • process connection with G1/2 or M20x1,5 thread
  • connection head type AA IP53, – 40÷100ºC
  • sheath material: acid-resistant steel 1.4541
  •  temperature transmitter can be mounted in a connection head
  • measuring insert: pipe or mineral insulated version

Thermowell Protection Tube

For use in furnaces, cement and brick ovens we recommend Kanthal® AF, a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) for use  up to 1300°C (2370°F). The alloy is characterized by excellent oxidation resistance and very good form stability resulting in long element life.
