Flow verification of built-in flowmeters

How to verify a mechanical or electro-magnetic flowmeter for liquids without interrupting the flow process, dismantling the meter and sending it to a calibration lab? Inaccurate or wrong readings may cause higher expenses in raw material, losses in production and even endanger your staff and environment. We suggest to install a portable ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter for flow verification.

The Schmierer SEA UFP1.0 portable clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter is the ideal flow measurement tool for short or long-term monitoring of several flow points, data logging and verification of buit-in flowmeters. 
The transducers are easily set up and can be used for pipe sizes from DN 25 to 5000. The ergonomically designed handheld transmitter comes with a metal protection case against corrosion and a backlit color digital display. The recharchable battery lasts for 12 hours of continuous operation.

Our service team will do the parameter setting of the portable program unit based on pipe material, pipe thickness and pipe diameter to verify the flow of the existing flowmeter. Flow verification does not replace a calibration service but ensures that the built-in flow meter works within its range or shows that a newly installed pump will provide the expected output.
