Pitot Tube Gas Flow Measurement

The Deltaflow Meters from Systec Control, Germany measures gas, steam, exhaust and combustion air using the differential pressure (dp) method – highly accurate, reliable and robust:

  • low pressure loss, virtually maintenance and drift free
  • insensitive to contamination, condensate, dirt, particles, fouling, pulsations
  • inline and insertion types, low weight
  • convertible to different gases without recalibration

deltaflowDeltaflow for Steam, Gas and Liquids

Typical applications are flow measurement of steam, the metering of pressurized air, liquid flow measurements of water, oil, benzene. deltaflow is used to measure stack gas and flare gas, natural gas, bio gas, etc. in power plants, sewage plants, breweries, automotive plants, steel plants, etc.

  • optional with multi variable DP Transmitter and air purge unit
  • pressure and temperature compensation for mass flow
  • low weight, simple installation

deltaflowCDeltaflow C2 for ventilation, pipes, ducts

Typical usage for compressed air, HVAC systems (heating, air conditioning, ventilation), compressor control, combustion air control, process air management, pneumatics, exhaust gas measurement, engine test benches.

  • 3 in one: DP volume, mass flow, pressure, temperature, small size
  • less sensitive to surface fouling by e.g. oil films, condensates and particles

deltaflow pitot portableDeltaflow Pitot for portable, insertion type gas flow, high temperatures

Application in power plants, heating and conditioning industries, efficiency of air ventilators

  • portable, carry case, easy insertion assembly
  • temperatures from – 250°C to 1200°C
  • from ultra pure to highly polluted aggressive gases, condensation

deltaflowBDeltaflow B for engine test bench measurement

Combination of low pressure loss venturi and airfoil probe. This combination reduces the permanent pressure loss to well below 10% of the measured differential pressure, i.e. even at design flow the pressure loss is <20mbar.

  • CAN-based sensors  measure up to 2kHz
  • Calculates accurate air mass flows thanks to sophisticated filter strategies that separate pressure and flow pulsations
  • Insensitive to dirt and condensation
